Random A/W Clothing Wishlist

Hello there, hope you are well!

You know that niggling feeling when perhaps things aren't going too well or if you need a bit of cheering up or if you just feel like a bit of a change? Stereo-typically, we fashion-orientated tend to treat this with a steady dosage of retail therapy. So, here's another wishlist that we can stare at and think wishfully at! Hope you like!

1. Velvet Check Treggings - TOPSHOP - £28
- Velvet is my ultimate A/W material
- As the colours are quite dark, it would be easy to style and could be worn many ways

2. Celine Paris Tee - seoulpicks.com - £15.19
- Just seen loads of people wear this tee and it looks awesome!
- Quite plain so again, is very versatile

3. Hype.Beanie in Forest Green - store.justhype.co.uk - £9.99
- Forest Greens are one of my fave A/W shades, it just looks so cool
- Wanted to buy a beanie for ages and this is perfect!

4. Sparkle & Fade Multi Stove Trousers - Urban Outfitters - £22 (in SALE)
- These trousers are quite edgy but I really love them
- I think it would look great with the Celine Paris Tee and the beanie and perhaps a denim or leather jacket + a gold chain necklace - what do you think?

Do you like my wishlist posts? Do I post too many?

+ I'm thinking of changing my blog's name to 'ROCK IT SISTER', the same as my Youtube. What do you think?

Glamorous Competition

Hello there, hope you are well!

This post is my entry for the Glamorous Exclusive Blogger Competition - find out more below!

A few months ago I came across a clothing, shoes and bags website called Glamorous. They stock a variety of products from classy blazers to studded creepers. If you're like me and you love clothes with a bit of edge, this shop is for you! They also stock Jeffrey Campbell shoes which are rocking the world by storm at the moment. Most of the products are at really good, affordable prices with the odd few being at higher prices. Some items are also stocked in Republic.

So, as I mentioned earlier, this is my competition entry to win £200 to spend at Glamorous. The idea is to create an outfit with a budget of £200. The best 10 outfits will then be selected and put up to vote on the Glamorous Facebook Page

The first item is the Black Roll Neck Crop Top. I feel like this is a really fantastic basic piece that everybody should own as it is SO versatile. It can be dressed up or dressed down and would be extremely good to style as it is black so will work with practically anything. At £10.99, this is very affordable and adds more class to an outfit than the price tag might suggest.

The second item is the Burgundy Pencil Skirt. This adds a pop of gorgeous colour to the outfit. The colour itself, Burgundy/Oxblood, is a colour that keeps appearing in fashion in the A/W season and I personally can't get enough of it! The fact that the skirt is a pencil skirt adds maturity and sophistication to the outfit as it can define womanly curves.

The third item is the Black PU Heeled Ankle Boot. These look like a heeled version of a chelsea boot and I like these especially as they could be worn in the day or at night.

The fourth item is the Camouflage Military Studded Jacket. Again, Camo/Army jackets seem to have taken the world by storm this year! I love the colours of this particular jacket and they look really good with the burgundy colour of the skirt. As the jacket is studded, this adds edge and a feeling of menace to an otherwise classy outfit.

To finish off the outfit, I would wear one of my own silver chain necklaces and a pair of my own black ankle socks.

Do you like my outfit collage? Will you be entering the competition?

Wish me luck!

Love, Miriam

To enter this competition yourself, all you need to do is create your collage made up of clothes from Glamorous and post about it on your blog, then email the link to emily@e-tailwebstores.com

EDITED ☯ Miriam Loves

Hello there, hope you are well!
A few weeks back, I was introduced to this somewhat vintage, super edgy clothing site called EDITED. It was founded and is run by Zoe, who models the items herself. Who needs a mannequin when you have a lovely figure!

"Edited is a clothing and accessories boutique, specialising in but not limited to vintage pieces. The Edited vision is to create an elite collection of distinctive, rare, original and one-off pieces that have been specially and thoughtfully hand selected and edited" - Zoe, Founder of Edited

The site itself is very professionally and stylishly laid out. It is very easy to use and it just looks very cool in general!

EDITED has three main sections to it:

1. The Renewed Edition
This is a special selection of clothing and accessories that have been picked out and edited to improve their look and create distinctive, original and one-off pieces.
My favourite piece in this collection is an amazing Studded Army Jacket that has been studded personally by EDITED. Army jackets are so versatile and, especially at the moment, they are key pieces in many peoples' wardrobes.

2. The Recycled Edition
A collection of hand-picked second hand pieces consisting of rare and unusual modern pieces.
My favourite piece in this collection is the Black Oversized Envelope Clutch. It has a really interesting silver hardware which adds to the quirkiness of an outfit.

3. The Revived Edition
The vintage collection of clothing, handbags and accessories. As they are vintage pieces, you'd expect a bit of previous use and character but this is true of all vintage clothes and they still meet the sites high standards.
My favourite piece in this collection is the Oversized Golf Jumper as it would look super cute over a shirt and it looks really cosy for this time of year.

What do you think of Edited? Have you got a favourite item on this site?

Love, Miriam
